Fodder Banks

Fodder bank is  storage of  high-quality fodder like lucerne and napier grass.

The goal is to have a supply of livestock food  in dry seasons of the year.

They can be used all year through, but are mainly designed to mitigate the fodder scarcity of annual dry seasons.

Fodder banks cannot provide 100% of feed requirements, but they act as a buffer  for dry season forage.
