DRAGON FRUIT PLANTING

Dragon Fruit Planting

Dragon Fruit Planting

The dragon fruit plant is a beautiful tropical fruit that can fetch good money in Kenya. The plant bears large, brightly colored fruit that is enjoyed by people all over the world. Dragon fruit is a rich source of antioxidants and other nutrients, making it a healthy choice for consumers. It belongs to cactus family of plants known for ability to survive in dry climate areas. This particular plant is no exception and can actually thrive in conditions where too much water is not good for it. One way to propagate plants is by using cuttings. Cuttings are pieces of a plant that are taken and then replanted. They usually grow self-pollinate and grow fruits in a short period of time. If you're looking to start your own dragon fruit garden, then there are a few things you should keep in mind: First and foremost, it's important to get good cuttings from healthy plants. Secondly, make sure the cuttings get plenty of exposure to sunlight - they should be in direct sunlight for at least six hours per day. Finally, be sure to stake (support) the cuttings so they don't fall over after being planted. Water regularly once the cuttings have been planted and you should see results within a few months! Also note that, a good compost manure is good to boost soil nutrition and help in water retention. A healthy Dragon Fruit Cutting goes for 500Ksh.
